Terms of Service

1. Beta Service Notice

Wrype is currently in beta. The service is provided “as is” and may contain bugs, incomplete features, or disruptions. By using wrype during beta, you acknowledge that features may change, content may be reset, and the service may experience downtime.

2. About Wrype

Wrype (“we,” “us,” or “the service”) is an online marketplace that connects vehicle wrap shops with independent installers and designers (“professionals”) for the purpose of posting jobs, submitting bids, and arranging work. Wrype itself is not a party to any agreement between shops and professionals.

3. Account Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a legally binding contract to create an account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Payments Happen Off-Platform

Important: Wrype does not currently process payments between shops and professionals. Pricing is negotiated between the parties and any payment, invoicing, or financial transaction occurs outside of wrype. Wrype is not responsible for non-payment, disputes, refunds, or the quality of work performed. Both parties are encouraged to document agreements in writing before work begins.

Wrype subscription fees (Pro plan) are processed through Stripe and are governed separately by our pricing terms.

5. User Conduct

You agree not to use wrype to: post false or misleading information; harass, threaten, or defame others; circumvent fees or attempt to use the service for purposes outside its intended use; upload malicious code; infringe on the intellectual property rights of others; or violate any applicable law.

6. Content You Post

You retain ownership of any content you post (job listings, portfolio photos, profile information, messages, reviews). By posting content, you grant wrype a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and use that content for the purpose of operating and promoting the service.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to share any content you upload, including photos of completed work and brand assets.

7. Reviews and Endorsements

Reviews and endorsements posted on wrype must reflect honest, first-hand experiences. Fake, paid, or retaliatory reviews are prohibited and may be removed. Wrype reserves the right to moderate or delete content that violates these terms.

8. Insurance and Certifications

Professionals are responsible for maintaining their own certifications, insurance (Certificate of Insurance / COI), and any required licenses. Wrype displays uploaded credentials but does not independently verify their accuracy or current validity. Shops should always confirm credentials directly before engaging a professional.

9. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, misuse the service, or pose a risk to other users.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

Wrype is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We make no warranties regarding the quality of work performed, the reliability of any user, or the outcome of any job arranged through the service.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, wrype and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the service, including but not limited to loss of income, data, or business opportunities.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice. Continued use of wrype after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
